Happy day.

You know how sometimes you have days where you're just happy to be you? You feel like things are good and you just really appreciate everything you have? Well today was like that for me.

We went to pre-marital counseling (required in the Episcopal church) and went over mostly little details like where we'll be standing during the ceremony (on the main floor with the guests or up the stairs ect). Then we went to go look at my grandmothers house. We're talking about moving in there. It's in pretty bad shape and my parents would have to update it to be able to a.) sell it or b.) rent it. So they posed the idea to us of having us move in and renovate without having to worry about mortgage or rent on top of renovation costs. We think we're going to do it but it was really weird being there. I'm hoping it will be less weird once we kind of make it our own. Here are some pictures of the house:

Front of the house. Never really used as the front though because the only place to park is in the back.

We're thinking of doing a "u" driveway and then adding a carport on the left of the house for our cars.

This is the back of the house:

and this is used as the front door:

When you walk in that door this is what you walk into (the living room):

Here we just want to replace the floor with hard wood and paint the siding white.

This is the kitchen:

What we want to do here is pretty easy, take out the floors and replace with tile. Re-surface the cabinet doors and later on punch out the kitchen door a few inches on either side.

No more pictures because it's crazy messy in there and it's really weird for me to post these. Feels weird I'm taking over her space but the idea of a stranger being there and just not knowing what they're touching or throwing away really bothers me. This is such an emotional time. Over it.

After we looked at the house we went to pizza joint and had a slice of pizza and beer. Good ending. Clayton comes into town tomorrow! Super excited to see my bro.

Oopsie.. again.

Sooo had a super busy week and I forgot about the 30 day challenge.. guess I'm loosing this challenge. I can't legitimately write 7 days worth of questions tonight (it's 10 o'clock already!) so I'm just going to answer one and hopefully get back on track tomorrow. Soooo..

*Side note: If you haven't seen Russell Brand's stand up, you totally should. Netflix watch it now or there's some on YouTube. Die! Love him.

An elegantly eclectic wedding.

After happening onto this page specifically this picture:

Vista West Photoshoot

I realized I had to have my eclectic wedding I wanted in te begining.. then decided it wasnearly impossible to ave. NO IT'S NOT. I will do it. I will. The end. With that in mind, I headed to goodwill to find some plates (and some picture frames to fill with pictures of little dan and andrea to go around the cake) and can we say.. JACKPOT. I scored all this:

SAWEET!

Look at the detail on this one set of plates:

DIE!

And this one has a platinum ring.. oooh fancy!

Ooh goodness, I am just thrilled to death I tell you. Not sure if I'm going to use the ones that aren't black and white, I'm afraid it'll look to hectic as opposed to elegantly eclectic.

Oh shoot!

Forgot I was doing this.. so I'm doing days 2-6 now. Tehe.

Day 2-Meaning behind your blog name:
Erm.. it's my life. Word.

Day 3-Your first love:
Dustin Goins.. left me to move back to Michigan to bone his ex girlfriend and live in a trailer with his grandparents. The same life he left to come be with me. Sigh. Dramatic.

Day 4-Your parents:
Are freaking fabulous. I love my parentals more than most things. Mk, pretty much more than anything. Especially after the loss of my grandmother I have no idea what I'd do without my parents. Or my brother. Family is SOOO important. Even though sometimes they might make you mad, it's all worth it. Especially when you're parents are as nice, caring, and fun as mine are.

Day 5-Your siblings:
Mah bro. Diddo everything above (replace parents with brother). It's nice to have someone who will always defend you and be brutally honest.. maybe no always in a nice way. And a drinking buddy is nice too. Love my family.

Day 6-A picture of something that makes you happy:
I'm cheating here because I don't want to pick favorites. My doggies!

30 Day Challenge

Day 1-Introduce, recent picture, 15 interesting facts

Blegh. I'm boring. I go to school, I live with my fiance Dan, we're lame. Our favorite things to do is watch television shows together and eat dinner on the couch. We're young and we like do whatever we want.

Dan's cut out of this picture but that's okay because this is my blog. Picture taken October 2nd at a friends wedding.

This is 25 things because I did it for facebook. The more the merrier right?

1. I'd like animals more than people.

2. I actually like to run, it helps me relax.

3. I'm freakishly worried about my loved ones dying unexpectedly. My grandmother just recently died and I have no idea how to handle it. I don't do death.

4. I can't deal with death.

5. I think old people are so cute.

6. I don't really go to church anymore and I kind of miss it. Dan and I have been looking for a good church to attend but we're either too lazy to get up or the churches we visit are full of crazies.

7. I was never a big partier but did my fair share when I was much younger. I think I grew out of it earlier than most, which puts me on the outside.

8. I really believe I can do something to save the world.

9. Grateful Dead music can instantly cheer me up. Mostly Touch of Grey. I will get by.

10.I HATE HATE HATE HATE math and I SUUUCK at it.

11. I have taken it upon myself to ignore certain silly laws.

12. My dad's a lawyer.

13. Since I was like 7 I thought marriage was stupid and society forced us to conform to this idea of a man and a wife with 1.5 children or whatever bullshit. But now.. I have a huge wedding book and I'm very much looking forward to getting married and planning the whole thing. Pathetic I know.

14. But I still don't want kids.

15. Dan and I spend a lot of our time together being stupid. Like our first date, he still makes me laugh until it hurts. I like when he picks me up upside down and spins me around until I feel sick.. Or when I get on his shoulders and can touch the ceiling. It's dusty up there.

16. I love target.

17. I have unbelievably bad memory and it makes a lot of things in my life difficult.

18. Coffee is what keeps me living and breathing.

19. I used to read a lot but sadly I really don't anymore. Trying to do more.

20. I love to laugh. And smile. And be goofy.

21. I don't think I'm as mean as everyone thinks I am.

22. I like to camp. Backpacking is better.

23. Girls that spend an hour getting ready and have fake tans, blonde hair, long nails, wear $150 jeans and are mean to perfectly nice people are the bane of my existence.

24. I have really bad acid reflux and burp really really loudly. Get the fuck over it.

25. I am unbelievably happy with America's choice in president.
